How the network protects you

Chauffeur directory
Drivers listed and vouched for by rental companies on the network, not by Garagii, each with a valid UAE licence and listed with their consent. When a customer wants a car with a driver, book one by the day from the directory instead of asking around.
Know before you hand over the keys.
Flags are raised by rental companies on the network, never by Garagii. When a customer's Emirates ID matches one, the booking pauses and asks you whether to continue. You decide; the system only tells you what other companies have recorded.
- No documents or personal details are ever shared between companies.
- You see only that a flag exists, how many partners raised it, and the reason category.
- A flag can be disputed by the partner who raised it and expires after 24 months.

UAE e-invoicing
E-invoicing is coming to the UAE. Your invoices are already in shape.
From 2027 every business-to-business tax invoice in the UAE must be issued as structured data through an accredited provider, not as a PDF or a printout. Here is what it means for a rental company.
The dates the Ministry of Finance has set
- 1 Jul 2026 Pilot phase opens. Voluntary adoption for any business.
- 30 Oct 2026 Businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more must have appointed an Accredited Service Provider (ASP).
- 1 Jan 2027 E-invoicing mandatory for businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more.
- 31 Mar 2027 All other businesses must have appointed their ASP.
- 1 Jul 2027 E-invoicing mandatory for all other businesses, whatever their size.
Ministerial Decisions 243 and 244 of 2025, as amended in May 2026. Invoices travel on the Peppol network in the UAE's PINT AE format, through an Accredited Service Provider, with the tax data reported to the FTA at the same time.
What it means for a rental company
- Every tax invoice you issue to a company is in scope: corporate rentals, fleet contracts, and every LPO between two rental shops.
- Credit notes and simplified invoices are in scope too, not only full tax invoices.
- Invoices to individuals (walk-in customers) are not in scope for now.
- Most rental companies fall under the 1 July 2027 date, with an ASP appointed by 31 March 2027.
Where Garagii.rent stands
- Every invoice already carries the fields an e-invoice needs: your TRN, sequential numbering, line items, VAT at 5%, totals to the fils.
- Supplementary invoices and credit notes are separate documents; an issued invoice is never rewritten, which is exactly what the regime requires.
- Invoices, receipts and LPOs are kept as records, not as loose PDFs.

Connect your own Stripe account
Sign up with Stripe from Settings in a few minutes. The account is in your company's name, verified with your trade licence, and pays out to your bank.

Send a payment link from the booking
One tap sends the customer a WhatsApp link for the rental, the extension or the balance. They pay by card on their phone.

The payment lands on the booking
A paid link posts to the booking's invoice by itself: balance updated, receipt issued, nothing to match by hand. It also shows in Finance, next to cash and card, so the day's takings add up in one place.

Hold the deposit on the card
For shorter rentals, hold the deposit on the customer's card instead of taking cash. At return, release it or charge what's owed against it. Longer rentals keep the usual deposit, and the system tells you which applies.
How it protects you
Payment methods is built to take more than one provider. Stripe first, more payment gateways coming. Use a different gateway in the UAE? Tell us which one and we'll put it on the list.
- Money goes from Stripe straight to your bank. Garagii never holds it.
- Garagii never sees card numbers, your Stripe password or your keys.
- No cut of your payments. Stripe's standard fees apply, and online payments is an optional add-on at a flat monthly fee.
- Every payment is tied to the booking, the customer, and the staff member who sent the link.
